This menu option is used to configure the settings for the optional
I/O cards in the two expansion slots located in the rear of the printer.
The menu options under Expansion1 or Expansion2 are the same. If
not labeled, Expansion1 slot is closest to the left side of the printer
while facing the rear of the printer for the 5050/5100 cabinet models.
Make changes to Expansion1 or Expansion2 settings according to the
slot installed. There are six sub-menus under this menu.
1. While in the I/F Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until Expansion1 or Expansion2 is located in
the lower right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse, or the Select key, to access the
Expansion1 or Expansion2 menu.
The following describes the selections available:
Legacy Parallel
This sub-menu is used to configure Legacy Parallel settings for the
Legacy Parallel I/O card installed in the expansion slot of the printer.
There are 2 sub-menus under this option, I/F Type (Hardware) and
I/F Straps (Software).
1. While in the Expansion1 or Expansion2 menu, press the ◄ (left)
or ► (right) menu browse key until Legacy Parallel is displayed in
the lower right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key. Legacy Parallel will be
displayed in the upper left corner of the LCD.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until I/F Type is
displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
4. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the I/F Type
options. A currently active option will be displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD immediately followed by the < symbol.
The following describes the selections available.
