This menu option configures the QMS filter option.
1. While in the Filter settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until QMS is displayed in the lower right corner
of the display.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the configuration
settings for QMS.
The following describes the options available:
BC Density
This menu option selects the BC (Bar Code) Density for QMS. Low
represents low density, Medium represents double horizontal, and
High represents staggered format.
1. While in the QMS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until BC Density is displayed in the lower right corner
of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the BC Density
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
Control Chars
The values that are selected in the menus are ASCII hexadecimals.
These are the DSC (DataSteam Compatibility) values based on the
IBM EBCDIC code pages that are being used. The default is 0X5E
(cirumflex).
1. While in the QMS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until Control Chars is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Control Chars
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
