Token Ring
This menu is used to select the MBit speed for Token Ring usage
(optional interface card.) Use the following procedures to select the
MBit speed for Token Ring:
1. While in Expansion1 or Expansion2 menu, press the ◄ (left) or ►
(right) menu browse key until Token Ring is displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) key. Token Ring will be displayed in the upper
left corner of the LCD.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
Mbit speed is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD. Press
the Select key to enable or disable a setting. The
immediately follow an enabled Mbit speed setting.
4. Press the Clear, or ▲ (up) menu browse, key to exit this option.
Coax
This menu is used to configure the Coax settings, Emulation, Buffer
Size, and Early Complete. These options are only visible with the
appropriate software loaded, SCS or IPDS, and the TX/CX optional
I/O card installed in either expansion slot 1 or 2. See the Setup
Menu Map on page 200 in Appendix I for available options.
1. While in the Expansion 1/2 menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse keys until Coax is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key. Coax will be displayed in
the upper left corner of the LCD.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
setting is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
4. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the options. Press
the Select key to enable/disable a setting. The < symbol will
immediately follow an enabled coax setting.
5. Press the Clear, or ▲ (up) menu browse, key to exit this option.
