SCSI Backplane Board

The SCSI backplane board contains ten 80-pin Single Connector Attachment (SCA)-2 connectors
to support up to ten hard hot-swap SCSI hard disk drives. The SCSI backplane board performs the
tasks associated with hot-swapping the hard disk drives and enclosure monitoring and management.
SCSI channel 'B' can be re-cabled as a dedicated SCSI channel for a high-speed connection to an
external SCSI device.

The SCSI backplane board provides several functions for the system.
Ultra320* LVD SCSI bus passes SCSI signals between the SCSI drives and the main board

Ten 80-pin SCA-2 blind-mate connectors to mate with SCSI drives on the two buses
