8. Move the retention lever at the rear of the Fibre Channel Module slot into the open position.
See letter "A" in Figure 75.
9. If necessary, remove the expansion slot cover in the slot you are using by sliding it up from
inside the chassis. See letter "B" in the figure.
10. Align and slide the adapter board down until it seats in the connector. See letter "C" in the
figure.
11. Press the card down firmly until it seats into the slot.
12. Move the retention lever into the closed position.
13. Attach any required cables to the card.
14. Install the memory board or memory board air baffle into Slot C. For instructions, see
Insertion of a Memory
