5. Remove the processor air baffle. For instructions, see
page 174.
6. Disconnect the SATA and power cable from the SATA-to-IDE converter board at the rear of
the DVD/CD. See letter "A" in Figure 106.
7. Remove the front panel connector from the SCSI backplane board. See letter "B" in the figure.
8. Press the blue release latch on the DVD-ROM/CD-ROM drive carrier.
9. Slide the DVD-ROM/CD-ROM drive carrier out through the front opening. See letter "C" in
the figure.

10. Lift up on the rear right corner of the DVD-ROM/CD-ROM drive to remove the drive from the
carrier. See letters "A" and "B" in Figure 107.
11. Disconnect the SATA-to-IDE converter board. See letter "C" in the figure.
