B.10 Connecting the contact-closure cable to an ACQUITY
LC
The contact-closure cable connects the mass spectrometer's Gas Fail Interlock signal connectors
to the ACQUITY LC system's Stop Flow In signal connectors.
This connection ensures that flow from the ACQUITY LC is stopped if the nitrogen supply to the
mass spectrometer's source is insufficient.
