A single CPU board now performs the functions previously performed by the 410 analog and control boards. The transformer has been eliminated and replaced with the same switching power supply used in the 2487. Waters part number WAS081226 can be used to order power supplies for use in either the 2487 or 2410 detectors.
A 2487 style analog noise and drift test is built into diagnostics. Each valve is a self-contained unit. Valves snap in and out for replacement without the use of tools. The 2410 design incorporates quick disconnects instead of screws. This change makes service of the detector simpler and faster.

CPU clock DS 8 The 2410 PCB has power indicating LED’s for all power supplies. There are also 8 diagnostic LED’s to aid in determining failure types as an aid for Test Engineering. Through-hole test points are available for all power as well as for APB, AMB, and LED current.
The microprocessor is used primarily to: • Write or Read Data over the QSPI to or from the Delta-Sigma Analog to Digital Converters • Implement User Interface from Front Panel or IEEE • Send Data to Three Analog Output DACs •...
ADCs. DAC Output Circuitry The Analog outputs for the 2410 use a frequency to voltage type digital to analog converter. Three 16 bit counters are used to control period and pulse width. This allows for a more precise conversion.
