Error details and causes
Outside cam axis current
The synchronous parameter "[Pr.468] Cam axis
value per cycle (Initial
current value per cycle (Initial setting)" is set to a value
setting) range
other than 0 to (Cam axis length per cycle - 1).
[Operation status at error occurrence]
Synchronous control does not start.
Cam axis current value per
Cam axis current value per cycle corresponding to the
cycle restoration disable
feed current value at synchronous control start could
not be restored when the synchronous parameter
"[Pr.462] Cam axis position restoration object" was "0:
Cam axis current value per cycle restoration". (Occurs
in reciprocated cam pattern)
[Operation status at error occurrence]
Synchronous control does not start.
Cam axis feed current value
Restoration could not be completed when the
restoration disable
synchronous parameter "[Pr.462] Cam axis position
restoration object" was "2: Cam axis feed current value
restoration", because the difference between the
restored cam axis feed current value and the feed
current value at synchronous control start (pulse
command unit) was larger than the servo parameter
"Inposition range".f
[Operation status at error occurrence]
Synchronous control does not start.

Remedy
Set within the range of 0 to (Cam axis length per
cycle - 1).
• Start synchronous control after moving the
feed current value as to fit within the stroke of
two-way operation cam pattern.
• Set the cam reference position as to fit within
the stroke of two-way operation cam pattern.
• Start synchronous control after calculating the
cam axis feed current value to be restored,
using the cam position calculation function,
and moving the feed current value.
• Set a larger setting value for the servo
parameter "In-position range", if the current
value is extremely small (such as 0).
