(6) Writing the flash ROM by a request from the engineering tool
The following transmission processes are carried out with [flash ROM write request] from the engineering tool. This
transmission process is the same as (6) above.
• The "parameters", "positioning data (No.1 to 600)", and "block start data (No.7000 to 7004)" in the buffer memory/internal
memory area are transmitted to the flash ROM/internal memory (nonvolatile).
(7) Reading data from buffer memory/internal memory to the engineering tool
The following transmission processes are carried out with [Read from module] from the engineering tool.
• The "parameters", "positioning data (No.1 to 600)", and "block start data (No.7000 to 7004)" in the buffer memory/internal
memory area are transmitted to the engineering tool via the CPU module.
The following transmission processes are carried out with [Monitor] from the engineering tool.
• The "monitor data" in the buffer memory area is transmitted to the engineering tool via the CPU module.
(8) Writing data from the engineering tool to buffer memory/internal memory
The following transmission processes are carried out with [Write to module] from the engineering tool.
• The "parameters", "positioning data (No.1 to 600)", and "block start data (No.7000 to 7004)" in the engineering tool are
transmitted to the buffer memory/internal memory via the CPU module.
At this time, when [Flash ROM automatic write] is set with the engineering tool, the transmission processes indicated with "(7)
Writing the flash ROM by a request from the engineering tool" are carried out.
(9) Transmitting servo parameter
On the CC-Link IE TSN network, when slave station parameter automatic setting is set to "Enabled", servo parameters
controlled by the CPU module are transmitted when communications with the servo amplifier start.
When slave station parameter automatic setting is set to "Enabled", servo parameters controlled by the servo amplifier are
enabled.
For the slave station parameter automatic setting, refer to "Others" in Part 2 of the following manual.
MELSEC iQ-R Motion Module User's Manual (Network)
The Motion module checks whether the servo parameters transmitted from the CPU module and the servo parameters
controlled by the servo amplifier are in the recommended setting when communications with the servo amplifier start.
When the parameters are not in the recommended setting, the error "Servo parameter invalid" (error code: 1DC8H) occurs
and the setting values of the servo parameters are overwritten from the Motion module.
For details of the recommended setting of servo parameters, refer to the following.
Page 658 Devices Compatible with CC-Link IE TSN
When the error "Servo parameter invalid" (error code: 1DC8H) occurs, "[Md.190] Controller current value
restoration complete status" becomes "0: Incomplete restoration" and servo ON cannot be performed.
After resetting the error, cycle the power of the servo amplifier.

• Do not turn the power OFF or reset the CPU module while writing to the flash ROM. If the power is turned
OFF or the CPU module is reset to forcibly end the process, the data backed up in the flash ROM/internal
memory (nonvolatile) will be lost.
• Do not write the data to the buffer memory/internal memory before writing to the flash ROM is completed.
• The number of writes to the flash ROM with the program is 25 max. while the power is turned ON. Writing to
the flash ROM beyond 25 times will cause the error "Flash ROM write number error" (error code: 1080H).
Refer to Page 623 List of Error Codes for details.
• Monitoring is the number of writes to the flash ROM after the power is switched ON by "[Md.19] Number of
write accesses to flash ROM".
