The error status can be identified by the lighting status of the RUN LED and ERR LED as follows.
RUN LED
OFF
ON
ON
When multiple errors occur, the error status is displayed in the order of Major error > Moderate error > Minor error.
When the RUN LED turns off
Check item
Is the power supplied for the power supply module?
Is the LED of the power supply module turned on?
Is the power supply capacity sufficient?
Is the module connected with the base unit correctly?
If there is no problem on the above check items, a hardware failure may have occurred. Reset the CPU module and check
that the RUN LED turns on.
If not, the possible cause is a hardware failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi representative, explaining a detailed
description of the problem.
When the ERR LED flashes
Check item
Is there a moderate error?
When the ERR LED turns on
Check item
Is there a synchronous encoder axis error?
Is there a minor error?
Is there a command generation axis error?
The ERROR LED may not correspond to the axis operation status. To check the latest operation status, refer to the error
detection signal ([Md.31] Status: b13).
Other than those above
Reset the CPU module and check that the module is in the normal status.
If the status is not changed, the possible cause is a hardware failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi representative,
explaining a detailed description of the problem.

Description
An error in which the module stops operation because of a hardware error or memory error, etc.
An error related to module operation in which the module stops operation because of a
parameter error, etc.
An error, such as a communication, positioning control, or program error, in which the module
continues operation.
Action
Check that the voltage supplied to the power supply module is within the rated range.
If the LED is not turned on, refer to the following.

Calculate the total current consumption of the modules connected with the base unit (CPU
module, I/O modules, and intelligent function modules) and check that the power supply
capacity is not insufficient.
Check the state of connection with the module.
Action
• An error may have occurred in the CPU module. Check the error occurred in the CPU
module and take a corrective action.
• A hardware failure may have occurred. Reset the CPU module and check that the RUN LED
turns on. If not, the possible cause is a hardware failure. Please consult your local Mitsubishi
representative, explaining a detailed description of the problem.
