10.4.4 GC Module Removal Procedure for 2-Module System

074-594-P1H Micro GC Fusion Operating Manual
This procedure is for Micro GC Fusion models built before October 2019 and will not
contain a JP-100.
If the lower module needs to be removed, the upper module must be removed
first.

Shutdown the system by following the system shutdown procedure in Shutdown
Procedure [} 251].

Remove all external electrical cables, including power cable and Ethernet cable.
WARNING
The Micro GC Fusion power cable must be disconnected before module
removal operation to prevent potential electrical damage to the instrument.

Disconnect sample gas connection(s), carrier gas connections and venting
connections.
CAUTION
Sample gas and carrier gas must be properly disconnected before the module
removal to prevent instrument damage from pressurized gases.

Set Micro GC Fusion on its left side as shown.

Remove the bottom eight screws with the 2.5 mm ball point hex driver.
