The service limits associated with each job origin
type
are
established via SERVICE command
entries in the IPRDECK. These entries normally
reflect the ideal service limits for the job mix of
the particular installation. The values specified in
the IPRDECK are important to optimum system
performance
and
are. not
normally
altered.
However, when changes are necessary they are
usually temporary and the original values will be
reset.
Figure 3-2 provides space to record the
. original values for that purpose. For additional
information concerning the SERVICE command,
refer to the NOS Installation Handbook.
