Electrical System: Testing the Electrical Components
4. Disconnect the brake actuator from the machine harness. Check the actuator
and the harness connector for damage or corrosion and clean or repair as
necessary.
5. Remove the actuator from the machine.
6. Use the cylinder pin to clamp the body of the actuator securely in a vise, and
manually extend and retract the actuator rod. The actuator rod should travel
approximately 32 mm (1.25 inch) in each direction smoothly.
7. Connect the brake actuator B terminal (green wire) to a 12 VDC power
supply, and connect the A terminal (black wire) to ground. The actuator
should retract.
8. Connect the brake actuator A terminal (black wire) to a 12 VDC power
supply, and connect the B terminal (green wire) to ground. The actuator
should extend.
9. Replace the actuator if necessary.
10. If the actuator tests correctly and a circuit problem still exists, check the main
wire harness; refer to

manual parking brake is disengaged, an operator is sitting in the seat, and
the key switch is set to the R
11. Install the actuator and adjust the brakes before returning the machine to
