1. Battery cable terminal (typical)
Do not open the lithium-Ion battery controller. There are no
serviceable parts on or in the controller. If you open the controller,
you will void the warranty. The controller is protected by
tamper-alerting devices.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting units, set the key
switch to the O position and remove the key.

2. Unplug the 48V battery disconnect; refer to
5–9).
3. Label and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable, positive (+) battery cable
from the lithium-ion battery controller B- and B+ terminals.
