Installing Special Objects to the Autosampler

For Firmware 4.1.3, go to drive:\Backup\Firmware 4.1.3\

2. Copy and save the files in the tables above to the folder: C:\Thermo\Instruments\LC
Devices\AccelaOpenAS on your computer.
3. Check for the correct configuration. Config 1 is for use with the 3-drawer cooled stack.
Config 2 is for use with the 6-drawer cooled stack.
4. Update the autosampler with PAL loader 2.1.1 or later with the correct SSS file.
5. Teach all position after uploading the new SSS file as described in the Accela Open
Autosampler Hardware Manual.
After installing option from the backup files, re-enter the serial number using the control
terminal (hand-held controller).

To re-enter the serial number
1. Choose Menu > F3-Setup > Ident > System SNo.
2. Re-enter the system serial number.
IMPORTANT Follow these instructions only if you choose to install the special objects and
do not install the new backup file to the autosampler using the PAL Loader.
 To install special objects to the autosampler
1. On the CD that comes with the column switch kit, locate the following files:
• For Firmware 4.1.2, go to:
drive:\Objects\Firmware 4.1.2\PAL Acc-C72VX6port_B.pol
drive:\Objects\ Firmware 4.1.2\PAL Acc-C72VX10port_B.pol
• For Firmware 4.1.3, go to:
drive:\Objects\Firmware 4.1.3\PAL Acc-C72VX6port_C.pol
drive:\Objects\ Firmware 4.1.3\PAL Acc-C72VX10port_C.pol
