This section describes how to create a backup file for the system.
Before you install the column switch option or make any changes to the autosampler, always
create a backup file using PAL Loader 2.1.0 or later so that you can restore the system in case
of a crash or error.
Create the backup file as shown in
Figure 106. Backup file creation
Tip Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends that you create a new backup file after the
system has worked with the column switching objects.
