INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY RH
(a)
Install the inner belt with the nut.
Torque: 42 N m (430 kgf cm, 31 ft lbf)

INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSY RH
NOTICE:
Do not disassemble the retractor.
(a)
Check the degree of tilt when beginning to lock the ELR.

If operation is not as specified, replace the outer belt assy.
(b)
Install the outer belt with the 2 bolts on the retractor side.
Lock
Torque:
7.5 N m (76.5 kgf cm, 66 in. lbf) for upper bolt
42 N m (430 kgf cm, 31 ft lbf) for lower bolt

(c)
Connect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the il-
lustration.
(d)
Install the outer belt with the nut on the shoulder anchor
side.
Torque: 42 N m (430 kgf cm, 31 ft lbf)

Install the outer belt with the bolt on the floor anchor side.
Torque: 42 N m (430 kgf cm, 31 ft lbf)
(f)
Install the floor anchor cover.
(g)
Check the ELR lock.

Check the fastening function of the child restraint system.

FRONT SEAT BELT
Check that the belt does not lock within 15_ of tilt in
all directions but locks with over 45_ of tilt when
gently moving the retractor.
Check that the belt locks by pulling it out quickly af-
ter installation.
Check that the belt cannot be pulled out any more
but rewinds after being pulled out fully.
Check that the belt can be pulled out and rewound
after the belt has been fully rewound.
