Configuration 210 – Field-Oriented Control,
Speed Controlled
Control methods 2xx can be used with HTL encoders (with or without reference pulse)
at basic device or an extension module.
In order to use control methods 2xx with TTL encoders, an extension module is
required.
An extension module EM-ABS for signal evaluation is required for operation with
absolute encoders (Hiperface, EnDat2.1, SSI).
Configuration 210 contains the functions for speed-controlled, field-oriented control of a 3-phase
machine with speed sensor feedback. The separate control of torque and flux-forming current enables
high drive dynamism with a high load moment. The necessary speed sensor feedback results in a
precise speed and torque performance.
