The valid ranges of C-RP addresses and addresses of groups that the C-RP serves are limited.
When receiving an Advertisement message, an S9300 checks the C-RP address and the address
of the group that the C-RP serves in the message. The Advertisement message is accepted and
the RP information is added to the RP-set only when the C-RP address and the group address
are in the valid address range. The C-RP spoofing is thus avoided.
By default, an S9300 accepts all Advertisement messages and records them to the RP-set without
checking the C-RP address and the address of the group that the C-RP serves.

Run the display pim bsr-info command to check the BSR information.
