4 PIM-SM Configuration
Context
Do as follows on all the S9300s on the multicast source side.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
pim
The PIM view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
register-suppression-timeout interval
The timeout period for keeping the register suppression is set.
Step 4 Run:
probe-interval interval
The interval for sending null Register messages is set.
The value of probe-interval must be less than half of register-suppression-timeout.

The setting of the parameters for controlling source registering is complete.

Example
Run the display pim interface vlanif 15 verbose command, and you can view the PIM
information on VLANIF 15.
<Quidway> display pim interface vlanif 15 verbose

Run the display pim interface [ interface-type interface-number | up | down ]
[ verbose ] command to check the PIM information on the interface.

PIM hello interval: 30 s
