4 PIM-SM Configuration
Context
Do as follows on all the S9300s in the PIM-SM domain.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
pim
The PIM view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
bsr-policy basic-acl-number
The range of valid BSR addresses is set.
After receiving an IP packet containing a Bootstrap message, the S9300 checks the source
address of the IP packet. If the source address is not in the range of valid BSR addresses, the
packet is discarded. The BSR spoofing is thus avoided.
By default, the S9300 receives all the BSR messages without checking source addresses.

Prerequisite
The ACL for filtering the C-RP addresses and addresses of groups that the C-RP serves is created.
