snmp port
Use the snmp port command to enable SNMP control of FICON configurations. To disable the
configuration or to revert to factory defaults, use the no form of the command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
SNMP control of FICON configurations is enabled.

Usage Guidelines
By default, SNMP users can configure FICON parameters through the Fabric Manager application. You
can prohibit this access, if required, by issuing the no snmp port control command.
Examples
The following example prohibits SNMP users from configuring FICON parameters.
switch(config)# ficon vsan 2
switch(config-ficon)# no snmp port control
The following example allows SNMP users to configure FICON parameters (default).
switch(config-ficon)# snmp port control
