Operation

Auto Reset

This machine can be set to return automatically to its initial condition if it has not
been operated for a certain period of time. This is called "Auto Reset".

Note
❒ The Auto Reset time can be set from 1 to 5 minutes, or to "Off". See "1 Auto
Reset" on p.72 "1 System".
❒ The default for Auto Reset is Off.
❒ In the following cases, Auto Reset will not take place.
• If there is no ink
• If originals are or paper is jammed
• If the machine has not finished making masters or prints
• If the machine is printing the second page of a Combine print
• If there is no paper
• If there is no master
• If the master eject box is full
• If there is an original in the optional document feeder
• If the "cover open" indicator is lit
• If you are in the process of making changes to the user tools
• If you have set Auto Reset to"Off"
