Macintosh Configuration
Changing to EtherTalk
The following procedure is for configuring a Macintosh computer to use
EtherTalk.

Open [Control Panels], and double-click the [AppleTalk] icon.

From the [Connect via:] pop-up menu, select "Ethernet".

If you change zones, select a name from the [Current zone:] pop-up menu.

Close the [AppleTalk] control panels.

Restart the Macintosh.

Preparation
You need an administrator name and a password (phrase). For more informa-
tion, consult your administrator.

Open [System Preference], and then click the [Network] icon.

Click the [AppleTalk] tab.

If you change zones, select a name from the [AppleTalk Zone:] pop-up menu.

When the setting is complete, click [Apply Now].
Configuring the Printer
Use the control panel to activate the EtherTalk protocol. (The default is active.)
