Adding or Removing Hardware
Install terminal server
After you have successfully administered and validated the connection between the adjunct and the
through the IOLAN+, you can disconnect the laptop or other PC from the IOLAN+. No further IOLAN+
administration is required.

If a link goes down between the terminal server and the switch, you must reboot the terminal server for

Administering IP node names

You must administer the IP addresses of the C-LAN board, any adjunct that connects directly to the LAN,
the terminal server (if appropriate), and the PC running the Reliable Session-Layer Protocol (if
appropriate). You use the Node Names screen to do this.

Type change node-names ip and press RETURN.

PC you need to administer.
