sation.

The CIS glass has some
scratches.
The DPCIS roller does not
rotate properly.
The automatic scanner
adjustment is not exe-
cuted.
The DPCIS is not properly
attached.
The DPCIS is faulty.
Assumed cause
The original is wavy.
The slit glass has conden-
sation.

Measures
Perform the measures for the
same abnormal image when
scanning on the contact
glass.
Clean the slit glass.
Reattach the slit glass.
Reattach the scanning guide.
Measures
Remove condensation on the
CIS glass.
Clean the CIS glass and the
DP conveying guide.
Reattach the CIS glass.
Replace the CIS glass.
Reattach the DPCIS roller
driving section.
Execute U411 [DP
FD(ChartA)].
Reattach the DPCIS.
Replace the DPCIS, and then
execute U091 and U411.
Measures
Make the originals flat, or
replace it if possible.
Remove the condensation on
the slit glass.
