MR-JET-G connection method

This section describes how to configure settings when connecting MR-JET-G and use various functions.
For details of wiring and parameters of MR-JET-G, refer to the MR-JET-G manuals.
Parameter setting value for using MR-JET-G
To perform motion control with MR-JET-G, set the parameters of MR-JET-G as shown below.
When the parameters are not set as shown below, the error "Servo parameter invalid" (error code: 1DC8H) occurs and the
values will be overwritten from the controller.

PDO mapping for using MR-JET-G
When operation is performed with the motion control station, the PDO mapping setting is not required because the Motion
module performs assignment automatically.
Details of the mapping are the same as MR-J5(W)-G (cyclic synchronous mode).
Precautions
• In the MR-JET-G functions related to the Motion module, the MR-JET-G does not support the following function. For details,
refer to the manual of the servo amplifier.
• Scale measurement function
• When the parameter automatic setting is enabled in the network configuration settings on GX Works3, if the parameters are
changed for multiple stations simultaneously in the communication of MR Configurator 2, the changed parameters may not
be applied on the CPU module depending on the communication load status. Change one station at a time. Or, start MR
Configurator2 via GX Works3, change parameters, and write the project to the CPU module.
• Motion control cannot be performed unless the same IP address as the motion control station set in the network
configuration settings is set in "[Pr.141] IP address". Review the parameter settings.
• If an operation cycle over occurs in the Motion module during motor operation and the commands before the operation
cycle over and after a restoration greatly differ, the servo alarm [AL.035_Command frequency error] may be detected in
MR-JET-G. Increase the operation cycle or review the program to decrease the load if necessary.
