This section describes details of the installation method of the motion system software.
Installation of the motion system software
Installation of the software is not required since it is already installed to the motion system at the time of shipment. To update
or change to the latest software, however, reinstallation is required. The latest version of the software can be downloaded
from the Mitsubishi Electric FA Global Website.

• Programs, parameters, and absolute position data will not be overwritten by installation.
• If the installation is interrupted by the following operations, installation files will be deleted. In that case,
execute the installation again. "Powering OFF the motion system", "Turning the RUN/STOP/RESET switch
of the CPU module to RESET", "Removing the SD memory card (when an SD memory card is used)"
• The installed software will be applied when the power is turned ON again.
• Model name and version of the motion system software installed to the motion system can be checked
using the engineering tool.
• Software files are protected by CRC. File integrity is verified when the power of the motion system is turned
ON, and if any abnormality is detected, an error "Add-on library load error" (error code: 3205H) will result,
and the system will not be started. Carry out the installation again to install correct files.
• Match the combination of the software versions with the description in the Mitsubishi Electric FA Global
Website or the following pages: Page 667 List of Add-on Libraries, Page 669 List of Boot
SoftwareIf the version combination is mismatched, an error "Add-on library load error" (error code: 3205H)
will result, and the system will not be started. Carry out the installation again with the correct version
combination.
