Fetch cycle: 8.0 [ms]
• Although "[Cd.55] Input value for manual pulse generator via CPU" is fetched every 8.0 ms, synchronization with the scan
time of the CPU module is not performed, so the speed change of the axis may become large if the refresh cycle of "[Cd.55]
Input value for manual pulse generator via CPU" is slow. Use the following methods to smooth the speed change.
• Refresh "[Cd.55] Input value for manual pulse generator via CPU" in a cycle that is 8.0 ms or less.
• Smooth the speed change by using the smoothing function of "[Pr.156] Manual pulse generator smoothing time constant".
• When executing manual pulse generator operation using "[Cd.55] Input value for manual pulse generator via CPU", set the
following items as shown below in [Module Parameter]  [Basic Settings] of the high-speed counter module.
Setting item
Pulse input mode
Counting speed setting
Counter type

Ring counter lower limit value
Set the movement amount per fetch cycle in "[Cd.55] Input value for manual pulse generator via CPU" within
the range of -2147483648 to 2147483647. When a value outside the range is set , the movement amount of
the manual pulse generator and the movement amount of the output value may not match.
■Setting range
• Set with a decimal.
