When a communication time-out occurs on the engineering tool
Check items and corrective actions for when a communication time-out occurs on the engineering tool are described below.
Check item
Is the communication cycle set for the operation cycle time
sufficiently long?

When parameters are not applied
Check the fetch timing of each parameter.
If parameters are not applied after restarting the module, check if the execution data backup has been performed. For details

Check the positioning details, or change the setting of the network parameter "Communication

cycle interval setting" to a longer value.
In addition, when a communication time-out occurs when performing flash ROM writing or
parameter initialization from the engineering tool, perform communication load reduction by
turning OFF the power supply of the connected servo amplifier, etc., to shorten the operation
processing time.
