Administering the Voice Ports as Stations
Voice port 12 must be administered first, because voice ports 5 through 11
have a bridged call appearance to voice port 12. Voice ports 1 through 4 have
the same options as voice port 12, only the Name and Port fields are different.
Complete the following steps to administer voice port 12:
1. At the switch administration terminal, enter add station extension to add
voice port 12. The extension number must be the same length as the
DEFINITY AUDIX system subscriber extension numbers. Extension
numbers cannot start with 0.
The switch displays the Station screen.
The following figures show examples of the Station screen for ports 1 to 4
and port 12.
