Joint Acceptance Testing
Joint acceptance testing is the process of performing a series of post-installation
tests to demonstrate to the customer that the DEFINITY AUDIX System is
functioning properly and that IMAPI is operational. These tests must be executed
jointly by the customer's LAN system administrator and an experienced Lucent
technician when the installed system integrates with customer-provided
equipment. The customer and Lucent representatives must run these tests and
resolve issues before the service order is completed.
Acceptance Check Tasks
The acceptance check tasks include:
Task 7-1 - "Add Two Test Subscribers"
T ask 7-2 - "T est the Call Answer and Voice Mail Features"
T ask 7-3 - "Run T est MO-Disk"
T ask 7-4 - "T est The Local Area Network"
T ask 7-5 - "Clear Administration, Error, and Alarm Logs"

Worksheets Needed

Before beginning these tasks, make sure you have the following worksheets:
Worksheet B-1: Administer the Voice Ports as Stations (Digital Port
Emulation).
Worksheet C-9: Set Up Alarm Origination
