Usage Guidelines
If you enable DiffServ ingress replacement before you configure a code point, the default code point is
0. To configure a code point for both the low-priority and high-priority traffic, use the command:
configure diffserv ingress replacement low-priority code-point <number> high-priority
code-point <number> ports [<portlist> | all] {<Ingress QOS profile>}
You can enable DiffServ ingress replacement for:
• Both high-priority and low-priority traffic on the specified ports or each ingress QoS profile on the
specified ports.
• Either high-priority or low-priority traffic for all ingress QoS profiles on the specified ports or a
selected ingress QoS profile on the specified ports.
The
"3"
series I/O modules support eight ingress QoS profiles (IQP1 - IQP8).
Example
The following command enables low-priority DiffServ replacement for all
QoS profiles:
enable diffserv ingress replacement low-priority ports all
