TATUS
The pages available from the Interface Status link provide information about the captive portal interfaces and their
capabilities.

Viewing Interface Activation Status

The Interface Activation Status page shows information for every interface assigned to a captive portal instance. Use the
drop-down menus to select the portal or interface for which you want to view information.
The following table describes the fields on the Interface Activation Status page.
Field
Description
Operational Status
Shows whether the portal is active on the specified interface.
Disable Reason
If the selected CP is disabled on this interface, this field indicates the reason, which can be one of
the following:
• Interface Not Attached
• Disabled by Administrator
Blocked Status
Indicates whether the captive portal is temporarily blocked for authentications.
Authenticated
Displays the number of authenticated users using the captive portal instance on this interface.

Viewing Interface Capability Status

The Interface Capability Status page contains information about interfaces that can have CPs associated with them. The
page also contains status information for various capabilities. Specifically, this page indicates what services are provided
through the CP to clients connected on this interface. The list of services is determined by the interface capabilities.
