Using the Switch Administrator Buttons
This section describes the buttons found on the OpenManage Switch Administrator interface. Interface
buttons are divided into the following categories:
Information Buttons
Information buttons provide access to online support and online help, as well as information about the
OpenManage Switch Administrator interfaces.

Support
Opens the Dell Support page at support.dell.com
Help
Online help that contains information to assist in configuring and managing the
device. The online help pages are context-sensitive. For example, if the IP Addressing
page is open, the help topic for that page displays when Help is clicked.
About
Contains the version and build number and Dell copyright information.
Log Out
Opens the Log Out window.
Device Management Buttons
Device Management buttons provide an easy method of configuring device information, and include
the following:

Using Dell OpenManage Switch Administrator
Description
Applies set changes to the device.
Adds information to tables or dialogs.
Starts a Telnet session.
Queries tables.
Displays the device tables.
Moves information between lists.
Refreshes device information.
Clears statistic counters.
Prints the Network Management System page and/or table information.
Creates statistics charts on-the-fly.
Shows further details relevant to the current page.
Returns to the previous page.
