Assigning Line Passwords Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for setting fields displayed in the Line
Password page.

Defining Enable Passwords

The Enable Password page sets a local password to control access to Normal and Privilege levels.
To open the Enable Password page, click System → Management Security → Enable Passwords in the
tree view.

The Enable Password page contains the following fields:
Select Enable Access Level — Access level associated with the enable password. The lowest user access
level is 1 and 15 is the highest user access level. Users with access level 15 are Privileged Users, and only
they can access and use the OpenManage Switch Administrator.
Password (0-159 characters) — The password to enable.
