A power supply slot

bootup is now empty.

failed due to an input
or output failure, or
due to temperature
issues.
The power supply
might not be properly
installed.
A power supply fan
has failed.
A power supply has a
high temperature.

the empty power supply
slot.

Replace the failed power
supply.

Remove and reinstall
the power supply.
If removing and
reinstalling the power
supply does not
resolve the problem,
reboot the switch.

Check the power supply
fan.
Additional
Information
You can ignore this
alarm in cases in which
a power supply slot can
remain empty.
You will not see this
alarm if the switch is
booted with an empty
power supply slot.
This alarm is expected
during power supply
removal and
installation.
This alarm can be
triggered during a line
card installation. The
alarm condition
corrects itself when
seen for this reason.
