Note that the single MP2500 communication port is COM2 only, but is
always referred to as Port 1 on the MP2500.
This shows the current configuration of the selected port, and allows you to
alter it by using the cursor keys.
To restore IBM communications, simply set FS3 Mode to No and press
E.
To select H
(FS3 mode) communications, simply set FS3 Mode to
USKY
Yes, set the other parameters as required, and then press E.
To cancel any changes you have made, press C.
You will normally simply select a configuration to suit the device that is
connected to the port. For more details of the significance of the various
options, see Chapter 13.
The configurations that you select will normally remain in force until you use
this option again. However, IBM-style communications will be resumed if
you use an application or command (such as MODE COM1) which re-
initialises
communications;
to
re-select
H
(FS3
mode)
USKY
communications, simply select this option again.
Standard (MS-DOS) applications which control the port hardware directly
(such as certain communications packages) will also ignore the
configuration set using this option.

Use this option to change key aspects of the unit's configuration.
