This function is exactly the same as function 00H.

Appendix E.

AL=ASCII code
AH=scan code
Checks if there are any characters in the keyboard
buffer. If there is a character, ZF=0 and its ASCII code
and scan code are returned in AL and AH. If there is no
character, ZF=1.
This function does not remove the character from the
buffer.

AH=extra status
Checks the status of the modifier keys and returns the
result as separate bits in AL and AH, as follows:
