MP2500 will normally continue executing the current
application when turned off and then turned on again,
as if nothing had happened. This is 'resume mode'.
If resume mode is disabled, when MP2500 is turned on
it will display the 'Welcome' screen and boot MS-DOS.
This is a cold start and will re-enable resume mode
automatically (and set all other settings to their
defaults).
Use this function to enable or disable resume mode:

The default, restored by a cold start, is resume mode.

MP2500 normally enters STOP mode when waiting for
keyboard input, to conserve power, or HALT mode if
communications is in progress.
Use this function to enable or disable STOP mode.
With STOP mode disabled, HALT mode will be used
instead,
