Single power management mode: Check for references to APM/FPM
battery management, which are not supported on MP2500. There is no
gas gauge facility, no deep discharge facility, and no boost charging
option.
IMPORTANT: You must modify any code that depends on loops for timing,
such as used for special keyclicks, timing loops and sounder code, as these
are dependent on processor speed. (The BIOS automatically compensates
for the system keyclick, beep and INT 15H function 82H sound output
functions.)
The MP2500 operating system has been subtly modified to allow use with a
single serial port:

HCOM defaults to use COM2
•
XL.COM defaults to use COM2
•
UTIL has been modified for a single port
•
PCOM.COM defaults to use COM2
