Xmodem Header Error
Check the line (modem) or cable (direct connection).
Xmodem Startup Error
Check the line (modem) or cable (direct connection).
After any of these errors, XL will discard any data received. An Active
MP2500 will restart the download after a configurable delay (/Rnn
parameter, default 10 seconds), unless the user presses C first, which
returns to DOS. A Passive MP2500 will display the message until the
operator presses C; it will not restart the download.
Other errors:
Disk Full
There is not sufficient disk space to store the received file. Press
to

return to DOS and make enough space (by deleting files) or select a
different drive with enough space, then run XL again.
Invalid Filename
You have specified a filename in the XL command which is not a valid DOS
filename. Press C to return to DOS and type the command again.

14.7 Using MP2500 applications

If an application has been written especially for the MP2500, it should
handle communications automatically, selecting and configuring comm-
unications to suit the remote system, turning the port on and off as required,
and trapping any errors for you.

14.8 Using MS-DOS applications

The serial port is configured as COM2 so any application that allows you to
use COM2 can use communications. COM2 is also configured as LPT1, the
device normally used for printer output, so printing will normally be routed to
COM2.
If you are using a standard MS-DOS application, it probably won't provide
any specialised communications facilities. In this case, you will probably
