5. Setting Up

This chapter briefly describes how to set up the MP2500 to run an
application. You may also need to refer to Chapter 7 for more details of how
to turn on and off, reboot and use the main controls. You will need this
information yourself and may need to pass some of it on to the operators
using the MP2500 in the field.
Note: The MP2500 User Leaflet is supplied with each MP2500 and
provides important user information. We suggest you read the
leaflet in conjunction with this section.

5.1 About the MP2500

1. CONNECTOR: main serial communications port (Port 1, COM2) 9 way
D-type.
