Three A-size Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) rechargeable
cells, three A-Size Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)
rechargeable cells, or three AA-size Alkaline cells.

battery stick.
The NiCd stick is colour coded with black sleeving.
The NiMH stick is colour coded with green sleeving.

the application, and usage.
Alkaline batteries are only recommended for light duty
applications, and are not suited to low temperature
applications.
