15. Accessories

This chapter briefly describes the main accessories developed by H
use with the MP2500. For more details, consult the products' user guides or
approach your local distributor or H
CAUTION:
Connect only approved cables and peripherals to the
MP2500.

15.1 Introduction

The MP2500 uses an operating system, protocols and communications
interface that are compatible as far as practicable with the main industry
standards. This makes it easy for you to extend its capabilities, by adding a
variety of standard peripheral devices.

have also developed a range of their own peripherals and software

enhancements for the MP2500, such as extra communications protocols.
These are described in the remainder of this chapter.

15.2 Power

The MP2500 can be powered by an AC adaptor, the H
Rechargeable Battery Sticks, or non-rechargeable alkaline batteries:

Three are required for operation.
