ER 82 Keyboard processor
The keyboard processor chip watchdog circuit is not activated.
-Change the keyboard processor board
ER 83 Generator processor
The generator processor watchdog circuit is not activated.
- Change the generator processor board

3.10 Errors 85 - 87, 90-99 (other errors)

ER 85 PSU PCB internal voltage too low
If this error occurs, either the mains voltage dropped too low (below 85 VAC) during the expo-
sure or the PSU PCB is defective.
With 100 VAC mains voltage (Japan) the mains voltage may drop too low if the mains imped-
ance is too high. Check the condition of the mains supply network and remove all other equip-
ment from the same fused mains line. If this does not help, use a UPS device.
With higher mains voltage or if the mains is OK, the PSU PCB is defective. Change the PSU
PCB.
ER 86 Panoramic sensor head in wrong position
This error message applies to the Digital X-ray units with two fixed sensor heads. You have to
move the panoramic sensor head manually to the desired position (panoramic / cephalomet-
ric). Er 86 is shown if the sensor head is in the wrong position or slightly moved from the
selected position.
ER 87 PSU PCB heat sink temperature too high
This error occurs, when the temperature of the PSU PCB heat sink is more than 75°C. The X-
ray unit will resume operation when the temperature drops to the normal level.
Too high operating temperature (over 40°C) can contribute to this error. The main cause of
this error is the bad thermal attachment of the PSU PCB. The knurled-head screws must be
attached before the other attachment screws. Reattach the PCB.
ER 90 Keyboard processor
Keyboard processor EEPROM not activated.
- Change keyboard processor board
ER 91 Keyboard processor
Keyboard processor stack overflow.
- Change the software on the keyboard processor board.
Er 99 Error code generation error
This error indication can only be result of non matching software versions on generator and
keyboard processors or an indication of defective keyboard processor board.
- Check program version numbers and/or replace keyboard processor
