Chapter D - ADJUSTMENT & CALIBRATION
If there is any clearance it is eliminated by unscrewing screws (see figure below) and pushing
the counterprofile towards the cassette mechanism. Do not use any tools to move the coun-
terprofile. Tighten the screws by pressing the screw head with finger. Check once more that
there is no clearance left but also that the contact between the counterprofile and the guid-
ance profile is not tight. This can be done by carefully pushing the rotating unit from the cas-
sette end using the same speed at which it moves when it is driven by the stepper motor and
turn it approximately 45° to both directions. If there is too much tension, the movement is stiff
and continually sticks in the middle area.
