POWER SUPPLY PCB INDICATOR LIGHTS
LMP1: Exposure indicator
Technical Manual
The lamp is ON when high voltage generator on the Power supply PCB is operating. Radia-
tion is generated when the lamp is ON, if the tube head is functional.
In case of error messages 30 - 33 check the following (in this order):
1)
Check the light D43. If it is OFF, perform the checks described in section "D43: Filament
Voltage" on page G-4.
2)
If the lamp does not flash after preheating, the high voltage generator does not start.
Check the Generator CPU PCB, PSU-GEN CPU cable and Power supply PCB in this
order.
3)
If the lamp flashes the tube head or tube head cables can be defective in addition to the
parts listed in step 2.
4)
If the lamp is on more than 0.5 seconds and the exposure is interrupted, the tube head is
defective.
5)
If the mains fuses are continually blown the Power supply PCB or its heat sink insulator
is defective.
