Chapter B - GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE

1.2 Behauvioural preferences

From the list of User preference settings select Behavioural preferences.
Automatic return: With the automatic return ON the equipment will automatically return to
Entry (cassette loading) position after panoramic exposures. Note that if the exposure was
interrupted, the equipment will be returned by touching the Entry field.
Temple rest motor inactivation: The X-ray unit can be used without temple support when
the temple support motor is inactivated. After enabling the Temple support inactive function,
remove the temple supports.
Automatic temple rest closing: When this function is ON, the temple supports will automat-
ically close when the ready field is touched.
Test mode: The test mode enables the X-ray unit to be operated without radiation being gen-
erated. Digital X-ray unit: PC communication not needed.
DAP: By selecting DAP (Dose Area Product) the radiation dose of each exposure will be dis-
played on the Main display. The program measures the highest possible radiation dose the
patient is exposed to in each exposure with the exposure values (kV, mA, time). In case the
patient does not cover the whole exposure field (e.g. Ceph exposure), the real radiation dose
is lower.
Touch the OK field to accept the new or existing settings and exit the mode.
